Hygivo Set up your workplace

How Hygivo works

From an empty workplace to a searchable history of the checks your team actually did.

1. The owner sets up the workplace

Create an account, then add your business name, venue type, first location and time zone. Add fridges and freezers with the ranges you work to, your cleaning list and how often each task is due, and the delivery details your procedure asks for. Hygivo suggests common defaults; they are a starting point, not an approved HACCP plan — check each one against your own procedures.

Setup is saved as you go. You can close the app and come back. Nothing is charged while you set up.

2. Activate the workplace

Recording and staff invites start when the workplace is active: with a paid plan from the website, or an eligible Hygivo trial code. New accounts don’t get a free trial automatically. Pricing · Trial codes

3. Invite your team

The owner creates an invite link for a location. Each person joins with their own account, so records show who did what. Staff record checks and can view records at their location; managers look after equipment, cleaning, allergen information and corrections at their locations; the owner controls billing, codes and invites.

4. Record the work

Today shows what is due. One + Record button starts a delivery, a temperature round, a cooking or hot-holding check, a cleaning task or a problem report. A reading outside the configured range asks for the action taken. A check that was not done is recorded as not done, with the reason — it never appears as a pass.

5. When the connection drops

For supported daily records, an entry made without signal is kept on the phone and marked as waiting. It is sent when the connection returns, and only then shown as saved to the workplace. If the server refuses it (for example, access changed), Hygivo tells you rather than discarding it.

6. Find and show the records

Records lets authorised people search, filter and export. The inspection view gives a concise, read-only summary for a chosen period. More about Records
